It is not my aim to reflect upon the nature of stlill-life neither to surrond my private garden with a wall. I would rather like to enlight the surfaces, leaves fruits flowers frames of nature or stuff from the inside, to show the time running across any still life -- things between and behind-- and to make my insight visible and alive.
My works are frequently related with home spaces, home-life moments of beeing, experiences and emotions.
If photography from the beginning has been a technique in contrast to the race of time , the techniques I use ( macro-slides, scanner-images, camcorder frames) are only ways to tame –to take care of – beauty, body life.
Biography
I was born in 1947 in Padua, Italy where I live.
I studied ancient greek and worked as a teacher for some years.
Since ‘969 I’ve practised for pleausure --alone and with some friends-- words and images; poems, painting, and from ‘980 photo and video.
In 1985, I bought my first computer, a Commodore 64, - which had been at that time only a working tool (translations and educational) but soon made me realize new and unforeseen possibilities.
Recently I have been working temporarily as a freelancer for publicity of furniture and I shared in some graphic and video works with friends photographers and painters.
My subjects are daily life, frienship relations as well as ..vegetables and flowers.
