Artist Statement for Lula Becraft

|
|
Lula is a native of Oregon and moved to Indiana in 1979. That is were she discovered her passion for art. She went to art school and received a degree in Master Art.
Her first painting she sold was a oil painting of a kitten. She went on to sell many other art pieces to other individuals. Lula got into painting landscapes when she did some paintings for a couple of individuals. She enjoyed the beauty of the landscapes, and it inspired her to do landscapes. She also does other art it depends on what inspires her. Lula uses acrylics to create her works of art. She likes the ease of clean-up and the brightness of color.
Lula has worked as a assistance to the Artist of the Circus City Hall of Fame, which is in Peru,Indiana the circus capital of the world. That is where she lives today, and continues to create her works of art for others to enjoy.
