I have always dreamed of being an oil painter since my mother introduced me to the art museum in Grand Rapids Michigan and its art programs for children.
Personal Biography
I am a Florida Artist painting original landscape, bird and floral oil paintings.
I have studied oil painting with artist Marilyn Patton in Palm Harbor FL for several years. And have enjoyed workshops and classes with Larry Blovits Portrait class, Jim Connellys drawing, Michael Cartistos photography, Jennifer Weavers pottery, Brooke Allisons drawing, Christopher Stills plein-air painting, Melissa Miller Nieces drawing, Mari Kaake Bursuks originality in oil and watercolor paintings, Charles Gruppes Plein eir class, Anita Woods watercolor, and Mitch Kolbes underpainting
I am a member of the Creative Artists Guild, the Tarpon Springs Art Association and The Strand in Plattsburgh NY. I have been chosen to show my original oil paintings in many of their exhibits.
I have had five solo exhibits in Grand Rapids Michigan, Oldsmar, Dunedin and Tarpon Springs Florida. I have shown oil paintings in group exhibits in Clearwater FL, Safety Harbor FL, Crystal Beach FL, Oldsmar FL, Tampa FL, Grand Rapids MI, Jay NY, Plattsburgh NY, Tarpon Springs FL, Dunedin FL, Sarasota FL, Miami Beach FL, the New York Art Expo of 2007, the NeoCon Worlds Trade Fair 2007 in Chicago and Las Vegas, and the 2010 2011 Artprize events in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
