Artist Statement:
Our environment is built with in a variety of guidelines. In my work, I question the origin of these rules and examine their worth. I do not deny that these structures exist, but focus on the formation of identity and personality within these human set boundaries. I create intimate personal environments for my figures that reference media, advertising and the preset rules that surround our everyday life.
