Artist Statement:
The nature of glass allows me to explore what I call: "The adventure of light". Today, I concentrate on thermomoulded glass, exploring its technical, and aesthetic potential, creating sculptures often with gold and silver decorations.
The characteristics of my glasses is that they have as image
a highly metallic transparency and only when exposed to a very subtle light we can navigate through it and recognise its inherent fragility.
I also design jewellery in glass, again combining it with precious metals.
I coordinate and present talks and seminars abroad in highly respected institutions within my own country.
In my studio I instruct professionals.
My work is exhibited in embassies, museums, universities,
institutions and private collections throughout the world.
