Artist Statement:
Can art be defined? Art
appreciation is so varied and
individual, I doubt if it can
be, at least, not in a way
that will suit everyone.
Art is to be looked at,
therefore art must be pleasing
to the eye and/or the mind.
Being a self-taught artist, I
have great difficulty in
categorising my artwork.
There is only one answer -
check it out for yourself. I
would maintain that my style
is my own style.
However, I am quite prepared
to be wrong. If you have an
opinion about my work -
positive or otherwise - or a
suggestion as to the category,
please e-mail me - but check
out my web-site first, because
the work is very varied. I
hope that your eyes and mind
will appreciate my work.
