Artist Statement for Mag Wilk
|
|
|
Mag's work is usually balancing between functional design and artistic aesthetics. Especially the aesthetics derived from well balanced compositions, forms and colors. Deep appreciation of skilled craftsmanship drives her constantly towards better forms and better design. Blowing glass, fusing, making jewellery , traditional painting on canvas, or even designing the interiors could equally influence one another and bring unique and fresh solutions . Using so many ways of expression allows Mag to avoid the traditional approach and find more contemporary vision.
