Artist Statement:
As my life is enriched by
lasting relationships with my
husband, family and friends,
and I take pride in my
responsibilities as a wife,
mother and friend, my art
comes more easily and gives a
greater sense of
accomplishment. The repetition
of daily life has revealed
comforting habits over time.
The patterns of practicing
responsibility give me
security. Likewise, as I
dutifully practice creativity
and creating, my work is more
prolific and less random. My
artistic choices over time
reveal consistancy and style.
As I continue to mature as an
artist and a woman, my style
and theory of why I am driven
to interpret the things I see,
will culminate in my work....
