Artist Statement:
I paint what intrigues me and
that is darkness & light and
all the shades between both
bold and subtle in the both
physical rhealm and the
spiritual within. I am
especially inspired by the
magic and beauty found in
nature, the strength of the
human spirit to go on despite
our obstacles and limitations.
Of seeking and portraying that
state of mind that resides in
the field between wake and
dream where all things are
posible. I want to enchant the
viewer into my world...with a
hint
that more is happening than
what you first may see in my
works the same as I believe is
happening in life.
Biography
I have been interested in
art for as far back as I can
remember and I have always
been particularly fascinated
by natures "little
details".Even as a toddler at
the of age 2 when I drew for
the first time it was of a
little goldfish complete with
gills and even scales.
Unfortunately it was drawn on
my Mothers kitchen blackboard
used for recipes. It remained
as long as the
elements would let it.
I was self taught until high
school and did not have any
artistic mentor ...
