|
I like to capture an essence of the person I'm drawing and painting. Physical traits are important as are the air, light, environment. That information you gather just being with another person on the non-verbal level over time. That knowledge added to paint, color, texture, dark and light, pattern and shape and lines all help me convey a whole portrait of someone's intangible qualities.
