Artist Statement for Tony Mardelli

|
|
My paintings show my obsession about form, light, shade and shadow, plus the absolute rendering of clear objects, that I try to support by a neat drawing and a clean background. It is the result of fourty years of continuous study of what light does when it covers an object.
I think that there is a long way to go in order to be able to paint on canvas all the details that my eyes see.
