Artist Statement:
My work investigates the effects of our surrounding natural environment on our mind. Our environment affects us. The sounds of calm on top of a mountain can still a mind. Nature too has its cruelties and its wrath can just as easily stir a mind.
Previous works of mine have dealt with themes of sexuality, war, love, soul and mind. My work is about life, all different forms of it, life is complex and changeable, so too is my art, both in style and subject.
If you examine Art for a moment and think about its impact, art depicts our present time – it’s like a recording of time of events of history. Our own time becomes an object of research with several equally valid findings.
Life is forever changing and my work explores and investigates the ever changing various different aspects and forms of human behavior and the behavior of our natural environment.
