Marina Ujmajuridze
Marina Ujmajuridze was born in
Georgia,Tbilisi in 1954. She
has graduated the Academy of
Fine Arts and TV-Cinema studio
of Tbilisi. Marina Ujmajuridze
is one of the most
distinguished artist
representatives of 80-ies.
Since 1981 Marina worked as a
painter on Gogi
Levashov-Tumanishvili’s film
“Snow-covering of the Winter
Gardens”. In 1982-1983 she was
hired as the film designer at
the “Georgiam Film” studio for
the producer Guguli Mgeladze’s
film “Someone’s sitting in the
ice-box”. In 1983, she worked
for the producer Nino
Akhvlediani’s film “”Journey.
In 1989-1993 she works for the
producer Bidzina Chkheidze’s
film “Gerontua”.
Marina Ujmajuridze is the
member of the artists’ Union.
Her paintings are kept in the
funds of artists’ Union and
Ministry of Culture and in the
private collections of:
Goergia, Germany, Canada,
Prague, Denmark, Holland and
France.
