Artist Statement for Marjan Zahed-Kindersley
|
|
|
Hello All
Writing an artist's statement must be the toughest part of this job. So, here goes my spurious attempt:
There isn't a big mystery about my work: it's a question of pleasure. As simple and as complicated as that.
All B/W photos are hand-printed and signed. Those in the bra series are signed, as part of a limited edition of 15.
Image sizes will vary.
(M3 Leica (50mm and 90mm lenses), Ilford film and Doubleweight Baryta paper (30*40cm), enlarged by a Leitz Focomat V35)

Long-Term Ambition: To be so perfect that there is room for development.
Thanks for popping in! ;)
Marjan
P.S. Images are deliberately badly scanned. I do not consider inkjet printers and other forms of thieving fair. (I work my large evidence-of-gravitational-curvature bottom off in the darkroom to produce meticulous hand-prints.)Thank you for respecting my copyright.
