Artist Statement:
Mark’s interest in photography
started at 9 years of age when
he commandeered the family
camera and before long
photography became his
passion.
“Much of what I photograph can
be beautiful in its own right
but rather than taking with me
a visual memento what I try to
do is abstract a particular
view of that beauty that I
have not have seen before”.
His distinctive style shows an
articulate use of ‘scale’ and
‘depth of field’ that will
often emphasise the structure
and architecture of the
subject.
