My journey as an artist has lead to living with myself as a whole instead of trying to push parts away. I work with all types of things. Things found on the side of the road, things I buy (including canvases and paints) and things that are given to me. There is a lot to be said for working with boards, doors, shoes, and other surfaces, not just canvases.
I have grown as an artist in knowledge and technique and paint the way I feel inside. I am composed of feelings that breath life into my paintings.
If I don't paint I feel imcomplete.
