Artist Statement:
Bone in Shinagawa, Tokyo,
1963.
Masahiro grew up surfing and
has longed for the Aloha
spirits of Hawaii since the
age of 13.
his painting of the 45 meter
long by 3 meter high perimeter
walls of the Mitsui Sumitomo
building construction site was
featured on the TV news
program "Super Time" Fuji TV,
1986.
He started up his own design
company, "Hadowin Clude" in
1996.
Mr. Gono painted a wall of the
Temple Zuihouji at
Shiroganedai, Tokyo, 2003 and
has done very many solo and
group exhibitions in Japan.
