I begin with the science: the grid, the elements, the knowledge from college, then build with spontaneity, with emotion fueled from sleep deprivation, with uninhibition to the point of inebriation ...

| Artist Statement |
I am fascinated by the mechanisms of thought, physics, the idealism of art movements, such as, impressionism, surrealism, and expressionism. I begin with the science: the grid, the elements, the knowledge from college, then build with spontaneity, with emotion fueled from sleep deprivation, with uninhibition to the point of inebriation and all spectrums of music. It's one part carpenter and one part mad scientist, all in effort to disconnect from the distractions of conscienceness and tap what's pure and essential, in hopes of transporting the imagination to other places, times, and imaginary worlds: to invoke thought, memories, and curiosity. |
