Artist Statement:
I work on differents styles of
acrylic painting depending of
the series that i do. I have a
serie about the memories of
the past that the old music
can bring back (see painting
:Germain rock, Lyse a gogo and
Majorettes à roulettes). The
ordinary people are painting
whit a colorful clothes and
hairs so they are the stars of
the paintings . Their face are
in black and white for show
the past. They are beside a
real vynil disc for show how
the music can change their
life for the time they listen
it. The time of the song, they
can be what they want: imagine
they are the singer or that
the lover words are singing
for them, imagine they skating
in front of a big public... I
also do very expressive nudes
and lithography etc... I have
study at Saidye Bronfman
school of fine art at
Montreal....
