Artist Statement:
I love to draw...with
graphite, colored pencils,
pastels and charcoal. I draw
from photos and feel that I'm
strongest with graphite, but
growing stronger in colored
pencil. I am constantly
learning and growing...I love
the process of drawing. The
little sting in my heart when
I start one...wondering, "Am I
going to do a good job on this
one?" Then the start, the
delight of seeing the portrait
start to look like the
subject. And then, the thrill
of seeing the person come to
life. But, nothing compares to
the excitement I see on the
face of the client when I
present it to them. I love
it!...
