Artist Statement for Carmen Melton

|
Art has been a passion of mine since I first picked up a crayon. Except for a brief divergence in third grade when I wanted to become a concert pianist, I've always known my life and career would center on art in one way or another. Ten years as a textile designer was a good beginning after college, but I longed to get my hands dirty and become a traditional artist. That is the path I am on now.
