Artist Statement:
I Mette Enøe am born in
Denmark in 1959. I started my
Glass Art passion 3 years ago.
I have developed my own new
unique Glass Mosaic technique,
where glass is placed on
glass.
This makes the art more
transparent and alive. When
the intensity, colour and
angel of the light source
changes, - the visual effects
from the art changes too.
The glass mosaic art can be
placed on the wall – in the
window, - inside, as well as
outside.
Other materials is used in the
mosaic art, such as steel,
aluminium, silver, gold ,
pearls, stones …only
imagination sets the limits.
Some glass pieces are made by
fusing technique, for special
unique effects.
Today I’m busy creating and
selling artwork from my firm
“Glaspatch” to private people
and public institutions.
I collaborate with architects,
goldsmiths, smiths, glaziers,
painters and customers.

I am a member of an international group, which uses symbols in the art – Neosymbolism.
