Michelle is a New Zealand-based artist.
Her work has have been exhibited in New Zealand and Australia and is regularly shown by a number of fine art galleries in New Zealand. Her works are held in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Europe, Mediterranean, Asia and wider Pacific. She has also received public and corporate commissions for her sculptural work, and has worked extensively in all scales of the bronze medium - from monumental to miniature.
Movement, energy, lightness & delicacy are strong features of Michelle's figurative works. More challenging aspects of the human condition are often expressed with humour. Children and animals also feature in her work and she has completed a significant body of equine works on all scales
The interconnected universe and the underlying forces and influences which steer existence of deep interest to her
Her more recent two dimensional works seek to express the etheric qualities of the cosmos and the delicacies of nature. Hidden patterns, symmetries, entities and connections are both revealed and imagined.
An eclectic thinker Michelle is interested in the intersections between art, science and spirituality
