Artist Statement:
I am an Associate Member of
the Royal Society of Marine
artists and exhibit with them
annually at the Mall Galleries
in London. I also regularly
exhibit there with the Royal
Institute of Painters in Water
Colours, where I won the
Rowland Hilder Award in 1998.
My work also sells at many
galleries in London and across
the south of England.
I studied at Wimbledon Art
School and was an illustrator
for many years before becoming
a full-time painter.
I have done painting
demonstration features for
Artists & Illustrators
magazine and for ‘Painting
Light and Shade’, a book
published by Quarto. My work
has also been published by The
Paper House Group, Oxford
University Press, in the Laing
Calendar and by The Art Group
for Ikea worldwide.
My giclee prints are printed
in limited editions of 200 to
Fine Art Trade Guild standard
with lightfast inks on archive
quality 310gsm German Etching
Paper. The result is not only
a faithful reproduction in my
eyes but a quality work of art
in itself. I wouldn’t put my
name to anything less.

Welcome to Margaret Heath's Portfolio.
I am an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Marine artists and exhibit with them annually at the Mall Galleries in London.
