Artist Statement:
Biography: Educated in
Europe,I have been influenced
to a large degree by the
Masters, whose canvases I
examined at close range. Even
an encounter with the great
Picasso in Cannes, in 1959,
contributed to my interest in
art, yet my destined
expression, using oil on
canvas, would not favor the
abstract, but rather the
majestic architecture of the
human face and form.
