Artist Statement:
My current work revolves
around Louisiana coastal
restoration and the potential
loss of the unique culture in
south Louisiana of which I
come from. Hurricane Katrina
has brought to light how
important coastal restoration
is in Louisiana and I hope to
bring to light this importance
through my art. I also want
to bring about the idea of
what would happen if nothing
is done and we do lose this
vibrant culture I hold
dear....
