Artist Statement:
I specialize in painting miniature oil paintings. My subjects range from landscape to portraits and everything in between. My work is small enough to fit into the average dollhouse. Of course these paintings are intended for the above average dollhouse, but you don't need a dollhouse to display my tiny jewels. They each have their own easel (which I make myself), so you can display them anywhere. Every painting is a one of a kind original.
I get my ideas from the world around me. I love the wilderness and go camping alot. I love plants and animals and I think above all I love people and their many different faces and shapes. I am also a huge fan of figure drawing and have a large selection of nudes for sale.
People ask me all the time if I ever paint big. My answer is yes, I do paint larger occasionally. Most of my full size work is done on commission and many of those are portraits but sometimes I will do a very large landscape. I have even done a few murals! You have to keep challenging yourself.
