Artist Statement:
After a successful exhibition
in Nurnberg in March 2005,
this Artist had another
Exhibition near Leipzig on the
4th & 5th of June 2005. This
will was in conjunction with
the Bushman Museum at the Burg
Schonfels (Castle on the Rock)
in Zwickau.
Paintings are also available
in South Africa and Germany.

Mike's artwork currently
embraces a kaleidoscope of
subjects and mediums, as he
searches for new directions
during this current
transition. A recent move away
from his "home" in Africa has
forced a re-evaluation of
objectives and a struggle to
establish new points of
reference and stimulation. You
find broad variety amongst
this collection of paintings,
in subject, style and medium,
as he works through these
different levels. His fine Art
can be broadly grouped into
African tribal, African
wildlife, European wildlife
and finally Scottish town &
country paintings.
This self taught artist has
traditionally worked, mixing
Watercolor painting with
pencil, mediums possessing
qualities of transparency,
subtlety and adaptability,
well suited to his frequent
illustration commissions and
his primary interest, the
Bushmen of the Kalahari.

he has interacted for 15
