Artist Statement for Michael Don Fess

Abstract art suggests and the viewer naturally creates his own image from the suggestion.
Different sculpture speaks to different people. Aren't we glad . . . this would be a boring world if we all liked the same things.
Sculpture has a language all its own and is difficult toduplicate with the spoken word.
