Artist Statement:
A boy and the cherries
A long, long time ago in a
city there lived a small boy.
His favourite pastime was
feeding the pigeons.
While crumbling the bread he
talked about his dream.
He dreamed about eating a
handful of fresh cherries.
One day, as usual he came to
the square,
But there were no birds.
He waited until the evening
and for the next day.
On the third day the pigeons
flew down from the sky
And sat with the boy - each
bird holding a cherry in their
beaks.
