Artist Statement:
I am a devoted abstract
painter and I use a
self-developed painting
technique that is unique in
the art world. I use a
combination of airbrush and
brush strokes that result in
an abstract art form that I
know you will enjoy.
During the development of my
graduate thesis at the Academy
of Fine Arts and Design, I
began exploring different
styles and techniques that
would utilize a flat
background design combined
with several overlapping
layers on top. My
experimentation produced
several fantastic works of art
that became my first series
which I named Abstract Kitsch
1, 2, 3. This series was a
success and was the key to the
acceptance of my thesis for
graduation.
Since then I have refined my
technique which has resulted
in the production of a new
series of paintings which I
named MYSTERIOUS WAYS. The
concept of this series is that
the painting is never-ending,
having no bounds or limits. My
painting style allows me to
communicate infinite
possibilities onto my canvas.
In the development of my
painting I am looking to go
beyond normal perception. I
mix unique backgrounds with
overlapping expressions.
Because I use my creative soul
in each brush ...

Welcome to Miroslava Sevcik's Portfolio.
I am a devoted abstract painter and I use a self-developed painting technique that is unique in the art world. I use a combination of airbrush and brush strokes that result in an abstract art form that I know you will enjoy.
