Artist Statement:
Born in 1974, in
Esch-s-Alzette, Luxemburg. I
was heavily into sports
(swimming) until the age of
17, then I bought a guitar,
just for fun and discovered my
passion for music. With
friends, we started (and still
have) a band , called dEFDUMp.
Just type "defdump" in any
search tool and you will find
us.
In 2002, I bought some oil
paint , by mistake (I wanted
to purchase some basic acrylic
paint to use on road
description signs for a
festival, we were organising
with the band that year)... I
simply loved the smell of the
paint, the texture it would
create, the way the colours
mixed,... well, I fell in
love.
4 years and almost 400
paintings later......
