Artist Statement:
I like every bit of Artwork
that I do and am happy in it
as each painting elevates the
other. The best compliments I
get is when these are accepted
and appreciated and are a
positive addition to this
world. Over the years I have
developed my personal and
unique style. My work has
unusual color selection
creating figurative and other
art forms giving my paintings
a unique touch and aura. I
find expressing myself in the
expressionist style very
meaningful.
I am self taught. I have not
conciously or unconciously
adopted the style of any other
artist. This gives my work
freshness, a quality
appreciated by collectors of
my paintings.
My medium is acrylic and I
paint on paper and canvas
using my own mixing and
application techniques. My
work comes from my own
personal imagery whether
figurative or other. I do not
use models and neither do I
sketch before making a
painting. I am always sure
about the colors which I will
be using and having once
decided the colors I start my
work remaining spontaneous
with the composition as it
starts to show itself.
