Artist Statement:
Born to 14.04.1970, marries, a son.
I live with my family in Erding/ Bavaria.
Although I am already interested since my youth in art, I quite late discovered only my passion for the painting.
The interaction of color and structure fascinates me. By the use of different materials like e.g. structure pastes, sand etc., I try to give to the pictures structures and thus a certain three-dimensionality.
Just as with humans, there is the straight “corners and edges” visible by the structures, which make the picture (and humans) for me interesting.
Even if I paint mostly abstract pictures, I would like not to be able to be specified on a style direction.
The pictures develop partly intuitively, without concrete intention or are reflections of everyday life situations and experiencing.
A picture succeeded for me only then if it raises with the viewer questions or sets fantasies free, if it addresses it or releases contradiction. Whether the impressions of the viewer with my intention when creating the picture agree are thereby of subordinated importance.
I am very strained, which develop impressions with you, if you get involved in my pictures.
