Artist Statement:
My work encompasses both tile work and sculptural vessels. One of my preferred methods uses polished slips and the technique of scraffito which involves carving through slips to reveal the underlying clay body. A connection to the natural world and my surroundings often motivates my selection of organically-based imagery....
