| Your Personal Biography |
My journey started in Chicago Illinois, where I was born. My Mother is of Swedish descent and Father of Scottish, the whole family is artistically/musically inclined, so my love of art and music comes naturally. Going to D. S. Wentworth School in Chicago, I won a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago and that started my love affair with painting at a very young age. Being a single parent and working as a Graphic Illustrator and moon lighting as a drummer in a band left little time for painting in the past. I have recently retired and moved from California to Tennessee and will now have time for my first love painting. I am a member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS). I have taken many art and design classes in college and attended numerous art seminars across the United States. Watercolor/Mixed Media is my preferred medium, but I also create works in Acrylics. Many of my paintings are in private collections in Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, California, Florida, Canada, Texas, Georgia, Alaska and Nevada. |
