Artist Statement:
The fine art industry is
something that extremely
fascinates me. I have always
wanted to work within visual
arts. I feel privileged that I
have the ability to create
deeper meaning through my
artwork and that I have the
opportunity to study for a
subject I have so much passion
for. My love of art has
developed and will continue to
do so, throughout years of
studying art. I chose to study
art and design at college
after immensely enjoying GCSE
Art. The two years I spent at
college allowed me to have
creative freedom such as;
studio space, various
materials and allowed me to
gain technical expertise from
tutors. The course gave me
inspiration to explore and
develop with a lot of
different aspects and subjects
within art. I learnt a lot
about the art industry through
visiting various galleries and
learning about different art
movements and artists. I’ve
chosen to specialize in fine
art because of my love for
painting and creating art
pieces with significant
meaning. I view this as a way
I can express myself and show
my opinions feelings and
thoughts through visual
communication. In my final
exhibition of my national
