Artist Statement for Nils Crusberg
|

|
I have been expressing my views through art all my life. I studied art in high school and in college, but it was not until six years ago that I started exclusively working in watercolors. My artwork has been displayed at shows in Colorado and on the East Coast. Most of my paintings are a reflection of my own experiences in life. I lived in Boulder, Colorado for ten years. The influence the mountains have had on me is obvious in my artwork. I also lived on Cape Cod, in Massachusetts. Sunsets over the water on Cape Cod have been a beautiful inspiration to me. I am a professional musician living in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire. I play guitar, saxophone, and clarinet. I have produced three LP's and use art and music to express my creativity and earn a living.
