Artist Statement for Hector Marin

As a visual artist, it is difficult for me to express my self other than painting.

What I can say is that it took me almost 50 years to arrive at the conclusion that the process of painting is more important to me than any other aspect of my work.

By process I understand the exploration of surface, texture, color, other, and the formal aspect of art: Balance, composition, rhythm, grid, and other.

I AM OFFERING FREE ART LESSONS, PLEASE CHECK MY VIDEOS FOR WATERCOLOR PAINTING. MORE VIDEOS ARE COMING SOON.
