Artist Statement:
I have been often told that my
sculptures are perhaps the
easiest to appreciate and the
most difficult to describe of

Artist Reviews:
13 sculptures currently stand
in the Dijla Gallery Baghdad.
Giacometti-like in their thin,
spindly forms, they look in
different directions and,
although they gesture
individually, reveal a strong
dialogue between each other.
Typical of the work of Ali
Noori, they are based on the
human and animal form.
