Artist Statement:
"Whereby a picture might
appear crude in its execution
but nevertheless have a new
and strange type of beauty".
This statement from Henri
Rousseau says a lot about my
work over the decades.
My artwork style is simple
figurative work, very bold,
bright in colour with an
overall look of simplicity
My whole life revolves around
art and when I am working
constantly I am at my creative
best.
My current work reflects
strongly the area where I live
- Currumbin beach.
Figurative surfers,
surfboards, surf, sand,
tropical fruits and flowers
using extreme colours.
One of my unique skills is the
handprinting (silk screen) of
fabrics by the metre,
wallpapers and limited edition
artist's prints....
