Artist Statement:
My drawings are small works on
paper which are sometimes
bound in hand made books. The
work is is derived from the
attempts I make to understand
history and time. I draw from
reproductions of works by
other artists, photograhs, and
from life, many times both
will work together in the
composition. I am inspired by
a need to feel history and to
understand how I came from
something historical and not
from a void. I look upon
zeitgeists with a zealous lust
to consume them, to make
myself part of them, to
engange with them. I want it
to be part of me because it
gives me historical importance
in an uncertain time....
