Artist Statement:
Olga Perry is Internationally recognized artist with the highest awards in sculpture, painting and photography.
The single mom in her 40's, Olga immigrated from Russia to US with two bags and about 50 English words in her vocabulary. Nevertheless, she made an amazing jump in creating her life long dream -- to be an artist.
Olga got it all. Her art speaks for itself --- powerful fusion of brilliant intellect, logic of the scientist, unique vision, worldwide experience, unification of cultures and philosophies and Renaissance skills. Enormously prolific, Olga created a few thousand pieces of art in short period of time and in all possible media.
And yet --- she just started.....

” I would describe Olga Perry's sculpture style as Romantic and Beautiful. Carmel Magazine, 2008 August.
"Monterey County Weekly", March 16, 2006:
Artists Olga Perry and Lana Loukianenko came from a part of the world that discouraged free expression. Luckily they didn’t become part of that world. Lana came to the Monterey area via the mysterious Ukrainian city of Odessa. Olga came from the capital of the former Soviet Union, Moscow. Maybe it was a quirk of fate or a quirky neighbor that brought them together so many miles from their beginnings. What ever it was, it was a good thing. The two far eastern artists have become an artistic whirlwind that is taking the Monterey artist community by storm. The fantastic images that Olga creates meld perfectly with Lana’s exquisite sense of movement and color. Working together in their Pacific Grove studio they have created a body of work that will arouse the imagination
and take the viewer on a journey into the world of the visual senses. Rarely do two master artists collaborate on this level. It could be their shared beginnings. Or maybe they have the special appreciation of one great artist of another. See this wonderful collection from two of California’s greatest imports. Lana and Olga will be at the Sofanya Gallery in Big Sur starting March 1. And meet them at an artist’s reception on March 18.
