Artist Statement:
I believe art is
something free. Free and
different. Also, I have a
strong dislike of excess
decorations and the
materialism of the societies.
I believe in the beauty of
pureness--girls' complexions
without any makeups,
architectures which reveal the
soul of the materials without
any complex, unnescessary
overdecorations, a hot waffle
without any maple syrup, and
etc. I tried so hard to get
rid of all these illusory
"chains" and transcribed what
are left--purities--onto a
canvas. Societies are handing
you too much social rewards to
keep you--one of their
wheels-- going and work for
them. One of the
"lubricants"is the thought of
being free. It's just a
thought--an illusion--that all
of you are free. In order to
be free without turning your
backs on the
civilizations--which is
impossible, is to "negotiate"
with the societies rather than
following them like
slaves--slaves to their
materialist rewards....
