Patricia Benitez's work is a
neverending attempt to realize
the perfection of the human
form and keep true to the
traditional principles of art,
all the while superimposing
her own dark and unmistakeable
otherworldly aesthetic. Her
inspirations come from a wide
range of areas, such as the
work of the Great Masters of
the past, anthropomorphism,
and the gradual synthetic
progression into the future.
The convergence of natural and
chimerical elements create a
phantasmagoric essence to her
painstakingly detailed work
that pull the viewer into
another world which serves as
a diversion from an everyday
reality....
