Welcome to Paul Devine's Portfolio. Browse Paul Devine's body of work: Drawing has always been an important part of my life, and in my paintings I have tried to preserve the visceral qualities of the quick sketch that I do on site. I enjoy the problem solving, much of which is done on a subconscious level, of selecting what is important or relevant in the field of vision. The chaotic nature of the suburban environment inspires exaggeration and distortion, and challenges me to create a peaceful visual interlude.
