IKIN ~a surrealist and a true visionary artist~
With technology as his partner combined with artistic endevour, the improbable worlds, portraits and thought provoking images that are between the real and the unreal are grown.
I am creating the perfect wall pieces for future fashionable apartments, hotels and businesses.
The past year I have been exhibiting in-group collaborations and solo exhibits through many galleries within Northbridge and Perth City, selling many works and receiving excellent feedback from all who visited.
All my work is printed professionaly with the latest printers onto quality papers or canvas.
The Premium Heavyweight Matte Canvas with Archival Inks is a lightly textured, white-colored matte printing material, which is imprinted with archival, pigmented inks to create the finest quality, and longest-lasting, art. The inks are UV-resistant and produce very long-lasting, brilliant, and well-saturated images while the canvas appropriately displays the texture, color, and three-dimensional depth of the artist's vision. The canvas is mountable and most suitable for framing thereby creating a vibrant and lasting work of art that can be enjoyed for generations to come. All images are archival (100+ years of ...

~Ikin's exhibition Another Time Another Place also leaves us wanting to see more. These digital images are full of colour and present a strong sense of the unusual. Ikin digitally manipulates his own photographs, prints them on canvas then works back into them with diluted ink so each mixed media work is an original. The images are fascinating and futuristic with an occasional touch of the funky. A personal favourite is Horseshoe Bridge which appears to have been transformed into an overflowing weir. Ikin has a good eye for composition and knows when to stop so there is room for the viewer's imagination to continue manipulating the image~
PAUL IKIN, Outside Sphere of Classification Digital Artist
Paul’s work occupies space in the main gallery. The work has never been exhibited before and is unique amongst its peers because of the use of canvas and the erasure of all trace of work, bar the finished product. By creating a work that can never be replicated Paul forges an intimacy with the audience by creating a moment that in itself cannot be replicated, this is the result of work only concerned with the visceral. Printed onto canvas that work has texture and warmth uncommon to digital art. This combination of factors lends the art of Paul Ikin the ability to elude definition. He has been creating these pictures for five years; this is the first time he's told anyone about them.

Paul Ikin was born with art within. His parents Neil & Jenny Ikin, were and still are signwriters.Paul was brought up surrounded by all forms of exibitions and the view to understand everyones opinion to the ever changing world of art.Never having the time to study art to get a degree he put his spare time into learning as much as he could by himself.
Loving photography and being imaginetive helped him push the common boundries of current works.Manipulating his photos on the computer and printing them out on canvas gave the perfect feel to his work.Without
a blink he would be painting the canvas until the piece was finished.
All of pauls work is one of a kind, never to be duplicated.
His mixed media view is wonderfull,an up and comming future exhibitionist.
This is some off pauls work of 2001-2002 so far, keep an eye out for this rising artist!
