Artist Statement:
I am a fine art photographer
of six years whose primary
focus has been development of
a contemporary collection of
regional wonders expressing
unique yet universal classics
of the Panhandle of Western
Nebraska. My work has expanded
greatly beyond basic floral
(our gardens are wonderful) to
capture the scenic viewponts
in the desired classic manner.
I love fine art and have found
the almost entire gamut of art
history in tree trunks.
Therefore have almost
completed my unique collection
of Trunks of Time.
Deliberately staying away from
digital cameras, I shoot with
35 mm and exceptional lenses
on Kodak E100G slide and T-Max
Professional black and white
Professional film for maximum
quality. I then scan into
digital format.
My work has had very positive
reviews from various and
diverse professional sources
as it expresses ME. I see so
much wonder. When it snaps, it
snaps.
