Artist Statement for Petros Karystinos
|
|
|
Petros Karystinos was born in Athens in 1954.
He studied Scenery at the ''School of Cinematography and Television Lykourgou Stavrakou'', Athens and Painting at the ''Accademia di belle arti'', Florence (1972-1978).
He was awarded with a scholarship from the Institution of National Scholarships (I.K.Y.) for his excellenl work in the art of painting (1990-93).
He has been a teacher of fine Arts in secondary education since 1981.
He has been a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts in Greece since 1981.
