Artist Statement:
I use a variety of common and
quality materials to create
painted images for viewers to
reflect upon. Using oil,
acrylic, chalk pastels and
ink, I create spontaneous,
one-of-a kind pieces. The
intent is to convey an
expressive moment in time
which is not bound by and
which transcends subsequent
moments in time. The meaning
of the work is as each viewer
sees fit. Some see
landscape, still life,
self-portrait, tribal artifact
or room with a view. All
views are valid, leaving room
for conflict and resolution,
chaos and order, good and bad.
Each searching, ultimately
to find balance. ...
